Letter to Moms at QMC!

I did write a letter to my moms, Anne-Marie’s grandma last week. We talked over the phone almost every day and they are very happy to see Anne-Marie’s transformation since she joined Queen Margareth College. Anne-Marie has become a much more cheerful and talkative child over a short period of time. She enjoins the time at school and started to sing New Zealand Anthem in Maori, the whole song several weeks ago.

I believe that it could never happen without the love and care of all teachers in QMC’s preschool. Anne-Marie has been to three private schools over the last four years. And only at QMC, we can finally call it her second home.

In Vietnam, teachers are highly expected, because it is not an ordinary profession. It is a special one that you can only do with love. Yes, with a lot of LOVE. In my home country, there is a children’s song that goes like this: when you are at home, your mom is your teacher. But when you are at school, your teachers will be your moms.

I did send the letter below to my moms, to tell them that the gift they gave us has transformed and enabled us to be what we are today. I know that QMC’s teachers may not read Vietnamese, but the key message is the same. We all love you and appreciate all effort, time, energy, and love you bring to this hard but highly respectable profession.

I and my wife are both teachers, and we know how hard the job is. And we know, all of QMC’s teachers master the art of teaching very well because you have a lot, a lot of this…

Thank you very much QMC’s teachers! Anne-Marie loves you and we do too!
